Dan Miller has a diverse work experience in the field of media and publishing. Starting in 1996, they worked as a sports writer and copy editor for the East Valley Tribune until 2001. During this time, they also served as a managing editor for the Van Nuys Aviation & Business Journal from March to August 2001, as well as a sports writer and copy editor for the San Gabriel Valley Newspaper Group from May to August 2001.
In 2001, Dan joined AVN as an editor-in-chief and held various positions such as executive editor, vice president of content division, publisher, and features editor until June 2010. Continuing their career in the adult entertainment industry, they became a managing editor at XBIZ from July 2010 to November 2015, where they managed the editorial content of national trade publications and produced content for XBIZ TV.
Dan then returned to AVN in November 2015 as a managing editor, responsible for managing the editorial content for AVN Media Network's suite of media products. Concurrently, they also worked as a managing editor for Webmaster Access Amsterdam from November 2015 to July 2020, where they organized and managed an annual international business gathering.
Most recently, Dan became the editor-in-chief for AVN in July 2020, a position they currently hold. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise in managing editorial content, organizing events, and their extensive background in media and publishing.
Dan Miller attended Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania from 1990 to 1992, where they studied Journalism. Dan then transferred to Mesa Community College in 1993, but their degree and field of study are unspecified. Finally, from 1994 to 1996, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism at Arizona State University.
