Winnie Wong

Winnie Wong, JP has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several prestigious companies. Winnie began their career at Cathay Pacific Airways as an Aviation Insurance Specialist in 1996. Following that, they joined John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Ltd. as a Group Management Trainee from 1995 to 1997. Wong then moved on to RSA, where they held the position of Assistant General Manager and headed various divisions, handling non-life and general insurance programs. In 2003, they joined Aon as a Director & Head of Global & Risk Managed Accounts and was promoted to Managing Director in 2008. Winnie was appointed as Chief Broking Officer and later became CEO of Aon Risk Solutions in 2012. Currently, Wong serves as the CEO & Executive Director of both Asia Insurance since 2016 and Avo Insurance since 2018.

Winnie Wong, JP has an extensive education history that includes various degrees and certifications. Winnie obtained an MBA International Management Development Program from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Winnie further pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Prior to that, Winnie completed their Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in English & Translation at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Winnie also participated in the Exchange Scholarship Program at the University of California, Davis. Additionally, they completed the CAGA Program for HK Industrial and Commercial Professionals at the Chinese Academy of Governance.

In terms of certifications, Winnie obtained the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma from the FT Board Director Programme. Winnie also holds the Associate in Risk Management (AICPCU / IIA) certification from The Institutes as well as the Chartered Insurance Practitioner, Fellow Member (FCII) designation from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
