Dan Arteaga

Dan Arteaga, MD, currently serves as the Director of Product Development at AvoMD since October 2023. Prior to this role, Dan has been working as a Neurohospitalist at Ascension since July 2021 and completed a Vascular Neurology Fellowship at Stanford Health Care from July 2020 to June 2021. Dan's medical training includes residency in Neurology at UVA Health System (July 2016 - June 2020) and a Pre Doctoral Research Fellowship with the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association (July 2014 - June 2015). Dan began a career in research as a Postbac IRTA at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) from July 2010 to June 2011. Dan earned an M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine (2011 - 2016) and holds an A.B. in Biochemistry from Washington University in St. Louis (2006 - 2010).
