Claire Bentley

Claire Bentley has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Claire began their career in 2001 as a Finance Administrator and later became an Accounts Payable Team Leader at Tyco Electronics UK Ltd. Claire then worked as an Assistant Management Accountant at Tyco Electronics Ltd from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, Claire joined Serco Ltd as a Management Accountant before transitioning to the role of Financial Accountant at NHS, Great Western Hospitals NHS FT in 2008. Claire worked there for eight years until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Claire served as Finance Manager at NHS Swindon CCG, where they provided senior level finance support for various projects and non-finance managers. Following their time at NHS Swindon CCG, Claire took a career break from 2019 to 2020. Claire then joined Avon Fire & Rescue Service, first as an Interim Finance Business Partner from July 2020 to February 2021, and subsequently as the Head of Finance from February 2021 onwards.
