Owain Futers

Owain Futers is a Senior Civil Engineer currently working at Avove Utilities since September 2024. Prior to this, Owain held the position of Infrastructure Design Lead at South Staffs Water from June 2022 to September 2024. Owain began a notable career at Pick Everard, progressing from Graduate Civil Engineer to Intermediate Civil Engineer, and ultimately to Senior Civil Engineer between September 2013 and June 2022, focusing on pipeline design and network renewal for Severn Trent Water. Additionally, Owain served as Committee Secretary for the ICE East Midlands G&S Committee from October 2014 to September 2015 and gained early experience as an Industrial Trainee Engineer at Germanischer Lloyd Industrial Services from September 2008 to September 2009. Owain earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil Engineering from Newcastle University, graduating in 2013, following education at St Cuthbert RC High School.
