Kesaté Tadesse has a diverse work experience in architecture and design firms. They started their career as an Intern Architect at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) in 2004 and later became an Architect at the same company. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Architect at dwp design worldwide partnership, where they specialized in residential and hospitality architecture and interior design. In 2011, Kesaté became a Principal at Bota Studio, and also worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Chulalongkorn University during the same period. They then joined AvroKO in 2014, starting as a Design Project Manager and progressing to roles such as Project Director and Studio Director. Currently, Kesaté holds the position of Managing Director at AvroKO's Bangkok Studio, leading the growth, culture, operations, and business strategy of the studio, particularly in hospitality projects throughout Asia and the extended region.
Kesaté Tadesse began their education at The City College of New York in 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture. Kesaté completed this degree in 2005. Afterwards, Kesaté continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture in 2006. Additionally, at some point in their education, they attended HiLCoE School of Computer Science, although specific dates and the completion of a degree are unknown.
