Alberto Garbayo

Alberto Garbayo is an accomplished entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in the aerospace and engineering sectors. As the Founder and CEO of URA Thrusters since December 2019, Alberto leads the development of sustainable propulsion solutions for spacecraft, focusing on innovative, eco-friendly technologies. In addition, Alberto serves as the UK CEO of AVS Added Value Solutions, overseeing UK operations, sales, and strategic initiatives while previously holding roles in business development, project management, and engineering. Alberto's influential contributions extend to advisory positions with the UK Space Agency and involvement in the Westcott Space board, where strategic plans for space propulsion advancements are shaped. Alberto holds a Master of Engineering and Master of Science in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Navarra and has participated in additional educational courses at institutions such as the University of Oxford and Copenhagen Business School.
