Steve Ratcliff has a diverse work experience in the events and audio engineering industry. Steve started their career as a Freelance Audio Engineer in 2003, working for companies like Self Employed, Event Architects, Inc., Delicate Productions, and D&V Sound. In 2006, they joined 3rd Ear Sound as a Staff Engineer. Steve then worked as a Technical Director, Show Caller, and Audio Engineer at AVT Productions from 2007 onwards.

In 2010, Ratcliff also freelanced as an Audio Engineer for Delicate Productions. In 2012, they worked as a Freelance Audio Engineer for Event Architects, Inc. From 2013 to 2020, Ratcliff worked at Immersivepro.com as a Show Caller and Audio Engineer.

In 2008, Ratcliff attended Meyer Sound Education, focusing on the fundamentals of system design, implementation, and optimization. Steve then attended Pro Audio Seminars in 2011 for Avid Venue training and The Complete Front Of House Engineer course. Additionally, Ratcliff pursued further education in 2015 at Synergetic Audio Concepts to study the effective integration of wireless technology in audio systems.
