Koen Evers

Koen Evers has a diverse work experience in the aviation industry. Koen is currently serving as the Managing Director and a Member of the Board at Avular since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Vanderlande, where they held various leadership roles from 2007 to 2021. Koen'spositions at Vanderlande include General Manager of FLEET, Key Account Director for Schiphol Group, Program Manager for Baggage Handling R&D, Product Manager for Loopsorter, Project Leader for R&D, and Feasibility Engineer. In these roles, Koen was responsible for managing commercial relationships, leading development programs, setting product roadmaps, coordinating projects, and ensuring efficient baggage handling processes.

Koen Evers has a diverse education history, spanning multiple institutions and fields of study. Koen began their educational journey in 1994 at Katholieke Scholengemeenschap Etten-Leur, where they obtained their Atheneum degree in 2000. Afterward, they pursued their passion for Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, earning a Bachelor's degree from 2000 to 2004. Koen then furthered their expertise in the same field by pursuing a Master's degree from 2004 to 2007 at Eindhoven University of Technology.

Later on, in 2017 to 2018, Koen attended TSM Business School to study Authentic Leadership. During their educational journey, they also gained practical experience by participating in an internship at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in 2005.
