Ningaraddi Belavagi, Ph.D.

Ningaraddi Belavagi, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and research. Ningaraddi is currently working as a Senior Scientist at AWAK Technologies since May 2022. Prior to that, they were also a Senior Scientist-R&D, Chemistry Engineering at the same company from July 2020 to May 2022.

From 2015 to 2020, Ningaraddi worked at BIONEEDS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED as a Group Leader-Med-Chem, Custom Synthesis, Process Research & Development. Ningaraddi played a crucial role in designing and setting up chemistry labs, recruiting and building a talented team, and guiding them in executing successful projects for Custom Synthesis.

Before joining BIONEEDS, Ningaraddi worked as a Research Fellow at Karnatak University from July 2013 to October 2015. Ningaraddi'sresearch focused on generating a library of compounds for Anticancer research, specifically nucleoside-based compounds.

Prior to their research fellowship, Ningaraddi was a Scientist at Sigma-Aldrich (Merck Group) from October 2007 to July 2013. Ningaraddi worked on new product research, developed new methodologies, and introduced several new products into the catalogue. Ningaraddi also conducted custom research projects for various pharmaceutical companies and research institutions.

In 2003, Ningaraddi gained experience as a Research Associate at Aurigene Discovery Technologies (Subsidiary of Dr. Reddy's Laboratory). Ningaraddi significantly contributed to drug discovery projects and developed skills in synthetic chemistry and medicinal chemistry. Ningaraddi was also a co-author of two patents related to drug targets.

Additionally, Ningaraddi started their career as a Trainee Research Officer at PI Drugs & Pharmaceuticals in June 2003.

Ningaraddi Belavagi, Ph.D. has an extensive education history in the field of chemistry. Ningaraddi holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry from Karnatak University. Prior to their Ph.D., they obtained a Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry from Karnatak University between the years 2001 to 2003. Before that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Industrial chemistry & Computer science from Karnatak University from 1998 to 2001.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Ningaraddi Belavagi has also obtained several certifications. These include certifications in Critical Thinking and Problem Solving as well as Interpersonal Communication from LinkedIn, obtained in June 2021. Ningaraddi also holds certifications in PowerPoint Quick Tips and Successful Networking from LinkedIn, which were obtained in August 2020.
