William Haeck has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. William most recently worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Awaken180° Weightloss starting in 2020. Prior to that, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Northeastern University College of Professional Studies from 2017 to 2020.
Before their time at Awaken180° Weightloss and Northeastern University, Haeck held various leadership roles in different companies. William was the Chief Operating Officer at Boston Digital from 2018 to 2019, where they implemented strategic operational models to improve resourcing, increase revenues, and enhance staff retention. From 2014 to 2018, Haeck worked as the SVP of Digital Experience Development at MARC USA, where they led the digital transformation of the marketing team and incorporated digital offerings into the company's business development process.
Prior to these roles, Haeck served as the President of Buzzhoney from 2012 to 2014, leading the digital transformation of the marketing team. William also worked as the Agency Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at One to One Global from 2000 to 2012, where they played a key role in growing the company from a start-up to a full-service marketing firm.
Haeck has also gained experience in the field of project management. William worked as the OPM3 Standard Development Deputy Director at the Project Management Institute from 2001 to 2003, leading efforts to develop an international standard for defining organizational maturity in portfolio, program, and project management.
Earlier in their career, Haeck held positions at CSC Consulting Group as a Program Director from 1997 to 2000, where they played a crucial part in introducing digital business and marketing services. William also worked at KPMG/Bearing Point as a Senior Consultant, advising on IT initiatives and leading engagements with the Department of Defense. Haeck began their career in the US Navy as a Lieutenant from 1988 to 1994.
William Haeck began their education at the University of Michigan in 1984, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. William successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1988. Four years later, in 1992, they enrolled at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis to obtain their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business. William completed their MBA program in 1995.
