Clare McGee

Clare McGee is an accomplished leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in fostering gender-balanced entrepreneurship and supporting business innovation in Northern Ireland. Currently serving as a Core Partner at Women TechEU and co-founder of AwakenAngels and AwakenHub, Clare has dedicated efforts to empower women-led startups. As co-founder and director of Innovate-NI, Clare focuses on developing sustainable indigenous businesses, while also holding roles such as Board Member at Pennyburn Credit Union Limited and Executive Team at Eden Project Foyle. Clare's background also includes contributions as a lecturer in business management, director of Boom Hall Partnerships, and a chair and board director at Young Enterprise NI. Educationally, Clare holds multiple diplomas and degrees from Ulster University and other institutions, specializing in sustainable investment, digital media communication, public relations, strategic management, and business studies.
