Brian Holzer

Brian Holzer, MD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brian currently serves as a Senior Fellow at Health Evolution. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Aware Recovery Care In Home Addiction Treatment, where they played a key role in providing comprehensive addiction treatment programs in the comfort of the home.

Dr. Holzer also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at FeetMe, a company specializing in mobility and rehabilitation solutions. At FeetMe, they provided strategic advice on market entry and positioning in the US.

Before joining FeetMe, Dr. Holzer founded and served as CEO of Lacuna Health, a subsidiary of Kindred Healthcare. Brian led Lacuna Health's integration into LifePoint Health's physician services division.

Dr. Holzer's career also includes positions at Kindred Healthcare, where they served as President of Kindred Innovations, responsible for launching platforms and solutions across the post-acute network. Brian led the conversion of the Kindred Contact Center into Lacuna Health.

Furthermore, Dr. Holzer founded HM Home and Community Services and served as its President. HM HCS, now known as Helion, is a post-acute management company focused on optimizing network management of post-acute care services.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Holzer held leadership roles at Allegheny Health Network, Spectrum Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Amgen, and Reed Smith LLP. These roles encompassed various responsibilities including brand management, strategy, operations, sales, marketing, and consultancy.

Brian Holzer MD, MBA obtained their MD degree in Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Brian later pursued an MBA degree in Health Care Management from The Wharton School, completing their studies from 2003 to 2005. Prior to their higher education, Brian Holzer attended Mt. Lebanon High School. It is unknown when they started and finished their studies at Penn State University, where they obtained a BS degree in General Science.
