Dee Waters

Dee Waters has a diverse work experience in event management and sponsorship roles. They started their career in 2010 as a Functions Manager at the Queensland Irish Association, organizing various events and gaining valuable industry experience. In 2012, they worked as an Event Manager at Grooveyard Event Management. Dee then joined Volvo Group Australia in 2013 as an Events & Sponsorship Manager, where they managed major events for multiple brands within the company. They also had the opportunity to work on the Volvo Ocean Race, coordinating corporate hospitality and VIP guest experiences. In 2019, Dee joined Sunsuper as a Senior Event & Sponsorship Specialist. They recently worked at the Australian Retirement Trust as a Senior Sponsorship & Event Specialist. Currently, Dee is a Brand Campaign Specialist at Aware Super.

Dee Waters completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Galway from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they studied Human Resource Management, economics, accounting, and marketing. Following that, in 2008 they enrolled at Edinburgh Napier University and pursued a Masters degree in International Festival & Event Management, which they completed in 2009.
