Lloyd Bennett

Lloyd Bennett has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Lloyd began their career in 2005 at State Street, where they worked as a Senior Account Analyst and Supervisor. Lloyd then moved on to APRA in 2007, assuming the role of an Analyst in Prudential Supervision. At APRA, they acquired a comprehensive understanding of governance, prudential regulation, and risk and compliance frameworks. In 2009, they joined Chungnam Middle School as an English Teacher, responsible for formulating lesson plans and implementing the school curriculum. Lloyd returned to APRA in 2010 as a Senior Analyst in Prudential Supervision, focusing on engaging and advising executives at the C-suite level for risk-focused outcomes. In 2015, Lloyd joined Perpetual Limited as a Manager in Group Risk before transitioning to Aware Super in 2018. At Aware Super, they served as an Operational Risk Manager and later as a Senior Risk & Compliance Manager in Technology & Mergers. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Manager in Technology Risk & Compliance at Aware Super.

Lloyd Bennett completed their education in a chronological order. Lloyd attended Vincentia High School from 1993 to 1999, where they obtained a Higher School Certificate. After their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Wollongong between 2000 and 2003. Lloyd further pursued their education at the same university and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree specializing in Economics from 2003 to 2004. Subsequently, they attended UNSW from 2012 to 2014 and obtained a Master's degree in Risk Management, with a focus on Business Operations.
