Nicholas Saldeba

Nicholas Saldeba has a diverse range of work experience in the field of IT and technology. Nicholas is currently working as an IT Engineer Manager at Away Resorts Ltd since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as an ICT Manager at Services For Education from June 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Services For Education, Nicholas worked at Staffline Recruitment Limited, where they held multiple roles. Nicholas started as a Second Line Service Desk Analyst in September 2016 and served till February 2018. Nicholas then became a Senior Service Desk Analyst from March 2018 to April 2019. Later, they worked as an Assistant IT Service Desk Manager from May 2019 to October 2020.

Nicholas's professional journey also includes a tenure at Capita as a Service Desk Analyst from September 2015 to April 2016. Nicholas was a Lead Support Engineer at Infiniti-e Ltd from March 2012 to August 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer at NS Web Design Studio from March 2010 to January 2014.

Nicholas started their career in the IT industry as an IT Apprentice at Pearson in Practice ATA from September 2011 to August 2012.

Nicholas Saldeba attended The Open University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science. Prior to this, from 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in IT, Software, Web & Telecoms Professional at Pearson in Practice ATA, specializing in Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Nicholas obtained several certifications. In November 2017, they obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. In August 2012, while pursuing their apprenticeship, they also obtained the CompTIA A+ certification, along with certifications in HP ATA Designing & Deploying Connected Device Solutions, HP ATA Designing & Deploying Network Solutions, Microsoft Technology Associate: Networking Fundamentals, and Microsoft Technology Associate: Windows Operating Systems, all from Pearson in Practice ATA.
