Ben Wainwright

Ben Wainwright is an experienced Engineering Manager currently with Awaze since September 2023, having previously served as a Technical Lead at Domestic & General and cinch. At cinch, Ben led a team in developing a greenfields design system and delivered key outputs, including an MVP static reference site. Prior to this, Ben worked as a Software Engineer with notable contributions at the BBC, where development efforts improved critical services and integrated GDPR compliance. Additional experience includes part-time software engineering for The Nutritionist and earlier roles in the payment industry and customer-facing optical positions. Ben holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Bristol and has a diverse educational background in English.
