Arun Ram M.D.

Arun Ram MD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Arun currently works as a Professor of Medical Pharmacology at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where they educate students about pharmacotherapeutics and contributes to curriculum development. Arun also holds a position as the Director of Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance at AWINSA Life Sciences, where they oversee medical review activities and assesses adverse events across different therapeutic indications. In the past, Arun has served as the Chairperson of the Preclinical Sciences Department and the Curriculum Committee at St. Matthew's University and has held leadership positions at Novartis, Pfizer, Ranbaxy Research Laboratories, Padma Hospital, and C.S.R. Memorial Hospital, where they were involved in medical research, drug safety, and clinical supervision.

Arun Ram MD completed their education with a focus on medicine, surgery, and pharmacology. Arun attended Medical School from 1992 to 2002 and earned a MD degree. Additionally, they acquired certifications such as the Licentiate of Medical Council of Canada from the Medical Council of Canada in August 2021 and the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates from ECFMG in February 2015. Arun Ram MD is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Rutgers Business School, scheduled for completion between 2022 and 2024.
