Joe Howells

Joe Howells has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, particularly with AXA Health and AXA PPP healthcare. Joe began their career with AXA PPP healthcare in 2001 as a Senior XML/XSLT Developer, where they were responsible for designing, building, testing, and supporting internal and external web applications. Joe also worked on projects such as quote and buy applications. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of Senior MVC Developer, with a focus on design, build, test, and support for various web applications, including online quote and buy applications, corporate policy management, and fraud detection. In 2014, Joe joined AXA Health as a Lead .NET/Salesforce Developer, serving as the technical lead for the strategic claims platform. Joe works in an agile, scrum practicing team with members in India and Tunbridge Wells. Currently, Joe serves as the Principal Product Engineer at AXA Health.

Joe Howells completed their education at the University of Gloucestershire from 1999 to 2001, earning an HND in Computing. Joe also obtained additional certifications, including "Learning Threat Modeling for Security Professionals" from LinkedIn in 2022, "Copado Fundamentals" from Copado in 2021, and "Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I" from Salesforce in 2021.
