Maizie Leyrer

Maizie Leyrer, CPA, currently serves as the Manager of Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting at Axalta since November 2021, after holding the position of Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. Prior to joining Axalta, Leyrer worked at Friedman LLP from November 2016 to October 2021, progressing through various roles from Audit Staff Associate to Audit Senior. Leyrer began the professional journey as an Audit/Tax Intern at Friedman LLP in early 2016 and gained experience as an intern at Gregg M. Heininger, CPA LLC, where proficiency in QuickBooks and tax return preparation was developed. Leyrer also has experience in customer service, having worked as a Cocktail Waitress at The Comedy Stop at the Tropicana and as a Sales Associate/Seasonal Sales Lead at Bath & Body Works. Leyrer earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Stockton University, following studies at Albright College.
