Simon Aldersley

Simon Aldersley is an experienced professional in product strategy and technical support, currently serving as the Global Product Strategy Director at Axalta since November 2022. Prior to this role, Simon held various positions at U-POL LTD, including Global Technical Director, where significant business turnaround was achieved, and led product development initiatives. Simon's career includes key roles at Castrol as Team Leader for Marine Ancillaries and General Industrial Lubricants, and at AkzoNobel as Technical Support Manager for EMEA, overseeing a large technical support team. Early career experiences at ICI Paints and Unilever provided a strong foundation in product development and project management. Simon holds an MBA from the University of Warwick, a PhD in Polymer Science from Durham University, and a degree in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield.
