Björn Larsson

Björn Larsson is a partner at Axcel, a private equity firm focused on investments in the Nordic region. Björn has over fifteen years of experience in the transaction services industry, working with both private equity groups and corporates in an M&A context as well as banks in a restructuring context. Prior to joining Axcel, they were the Group CFO at AniCura, a European family of animal hospitals and clinics. Björn has also held positions at The Riverside Company and KPMG Transaction Services.

Björn Larsson received their Master of Science in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics. Björn also completed exchange studies in accounting and finance at the National University of Singapore. In addition, they are a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.

Their manager is Christian Schmidt-Jacobsen, Managing Partner. They work with Sarah Hempel - Head of Sustainability, Nikolaj Vejlsgaard - Partner, and Thomas Blomqvist - Partner.
