Samuel Charreyron has a wealth of experience in software engineering and medical robotics. Samuel began their career in 2005 as an intern at Images et Rêves, where they worked on sound recording and photo retouching. In 2006, they interned at Arturia, where they reviewed the English version of the company website and tested software. In 2011, they worked as a Services Engineer Intern at Ericsson, where they led mobile positioning systems integrator for Nextel in Peru, Chile, Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina. That same year, they were the Director of Operations for TEDxMcGill. In 2012, they were a Masters Student in Systems and Control Engineering at ETH Zurich and a Research Assistant at McGill University. In 2013, they were the Documentation Lead and Software Development at the Autonomous Systems Lab ETH Zurich. From 2014 to 2021, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher in Medical Robotics and a PhD Student at the Multi-Scale Robotics Lab at ETH Zurich. Most recently, they were a Medical Robotics Engineer at Nanoflex Robotics from 2021 to 2022, and is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Axelera AI.
Samuel Charreyron attended McGill University from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a BA in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Technological Entrepreneurship. In 2010, they participated in a student exchange program at The University of Auckland, where they studied Electrical Engineering. Samuel then went on to complete a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Systems and Control Engineering at ETH Zürich from 2012 to 2014.
