Ananya Shekar

Ananya Shekar is an experienced professional in the field of psychology and education with a strong focus on mental health and training. Currently serving as the People Engagement Lead at Axelerant since April 2023, Ananya previously worked as a Trainer at Thoughtworks, delivering onboarding sessions with high facilitation scores. Ananya's expertise in mental health advocacy was further developed as a Research Officer at the School Initiative for Mental Health Advocacy, where responsibilities included designing workshops for counselors. As Program Director at Thrive Foundation, Ananya designed a Fellowship model and conducted executive workshops. Ananya's earlier roles include School Counselor at The Cathedral Vidya School and Fellow at Teach For India, where significant achievements included improving students' reading comprehension levels. Ananya holds a Master's degree in Applied Psychology from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Fergusson College.
