Julie Norville

Julie Norville is currently serving as a Venture Partner at Axial since March 2021. Previously, Julie founded JURA Bio, Inc. and held the titles of Founder, CSO/CTO, and Board member from April 2017 to January 2024. Prior to that, Julie worked as a Research Fellow in Genetics at Harvard Medical School from January 2012 to February 2017. Julie holds a PhD in EECS specializing in bioengineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a dissertation advised by Tom Knight, Angela Belcher, and Gerald Sussman. Julie also obtained a M.S. in EECS with a focus on bioengineering from MIT and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Caltech.
