Richard Ryan

Richard Ryan is a Senior Subject Matter Expert at Axient since October 2016, specializing in rocket propulsion, vehicle systems, and systems engineering. Prior to this role, Richard served as Chief Engineer at NASA from January 1980 to September 2016, where responsibilities included serving as the acting chief engineer for the Ares V Project until its cancellation. Richard holds a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, obtained from 1974 to 1979, and has pursued divinity studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1986 to 1987.
