Bryan Franey

Bryan Franey has worked in the geospatial field since 2005. Bryan began their career as an Intern at Esri, then moved on to become an Account Manager and Solution Engineer at the same company. In 2013, they took on an Adjunct Professor role at Front Range Community College. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as a Data Administrator and Geospatial Solutions Engineer at Parallel Incorporated and GISinc (now Axim Geospatial) respectively. Currently, they are a Geospatial Solutions Engineer at Axim Geospatial.

Bryan Franey's education history includes a Master of Science in Geographic Information Science from the University of Denver, which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. Bryan also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Geography from the University of Iowa, which they obtained between 1998 and 2002. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from Coursera, including Capstone: Retrieving, Processing, and Visualizing Data with Python (2020), Using Databases with Python (2019), Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) (2019), Python Data Structures (2019), and Using Python to Access Web Data (2019). Bryan also holds certifications from Esri, including ArcGIS Desktop Associate 10.0, ArcGIS Enterprise Administration Associate 10.0, and ArcGIS Web Application Developer Associate 10.0.
