Joel Marit

Joel Marit is an experienced exploration geologist currently employed at Axiom Exploration Group since January 2021. Previously, Joel worked at Orano Canada, where responsibilities included logging and sampling core as part of a uranium exploration program. Prior to that, Joel served as a geologist at NexGen Energy Ltd., contributing to the 2019 Feasibility Study of the Arrow Deposit and geo-technically logging drill core for key infrastructure assessments. Joel's early career included roles as a floorhand at Savanna Energy, where involvement in drilling rig operations was crucial, and as a traffic safety flagger for the Government of Saskatchewan. Joel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Saskatchewan, completed in 2017.
