David Pierce

David Pierce is the Chief Commercial Officer at Axiom, a position they have held since August 2019. Prior to that, they served as Senior Vice President & Head of Sales for North America from January 2018 to July 2019, and as Senior Vice President & Head of Sales for the Western and Central U.S. from November 2013 to December 2017. David has also been with Axiom since May 2010, serving as San Francisco Practice Manager before being promoted to General Manager & Vice President of the U.S. West Coast in November 2013.

Before joining Axiom, David was the Chief Executive Officer at Regen, Inc., a venture-backed company co-founded by Apple's first head of industrial design that made consumer electronics powered by light. David led the company to earn awards from some of the world's most prestigious industrial design and consumer electronics associations and was profiled in forums like the Today Show, Forbes, and Wired. Prior to their time at Regen, David served as General Counsel and Strategic Relations Manager at THX Ltd. from July 2005 to April 2009, and as Corporate Counsel at EFI from November 2003 to January 2005.

David Pierce received a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a Concentration in Ecology from Cornell University. After graduation, David Pierce attended the University of Southern California Law School where they ranked in the top 5% of their class and received their J.D. In addition to their academic credentials, David Pierce is also certified by PADI as a Divemaster (DM), Rescue Scuba, Deep Diver Specialty, and Advanced Open Water Diver.
