Chris Duer

Chris Duer has had a diverse and extensive career in the composites industry. Chris started as a Senior Engineer in Composites at Northrop Grumman in 2001 and then transitioned to becoming the Lead Composites Processing Engineer at Gurit in 2006. During their time at Gurit, they were responsible for product development and support in various markets.

In 2012, Chris became the President of DUER High Performance Composites, an industry leader in resin infusion and other cutting-edge composite technologies. After leaving DUER in 2014, they held various executive positions at different companies including Aspire Spars & Components and Tartan Yachts, where they played a key role in turning around the manufacturing unit and developing new business units.

Chris also worked as a US Agent for Armacell from 2017 to 2021 and as a US Agent for Oneida Engineered Products starting in 2021. Additionally, they founded their own company, Advanced Materials Consulting, LLC, in 2014, where they served as the President and CEO, representing advanced materials suppliers.

Most recently, Chris is the Director of Sales & Marketing at Axiom Materials, Inc. where they bring their extensive experience and expertise to drive growth and strategic initiatives for the company.

Chris Duer obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering, with a focus on Engineering, Materials Science, and Naval Architecture, from Florida Institute of Technology between 1996 and 2000.
