Joe Kelsey

Joe Kelsey is a PLSS Engineer at Axiom Space since July 2022, with prior experience as a Project/Test Engineer at ERC, Inc. from October 2019 to July 2022, focused on testing and developing hardware for the xEMU on the JETS contract at NASA JSC. Joe served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee from August 2016 to August 2019 and worked as a Research Assistant at Ad Astra Rocket Company in May 2016. Joe began academic pursuits as a Plasma Laboratory Researcher at Texas A&M University from August 2012 to May 2016, where Joe also completed a degree in Nuclear Engineering. Additionally, Joe interned at Ad Astra Rocket Company in the summer of 2015. Kelsey holds a Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, obtained between 2016 and 2019, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University, attained from 2012 to 2016, with prior education from Clear Brook High School (2005-2009).
