Senior Propulsion Engineer at Axiom Space

Lorenzo “Enzo” Vito Galicia is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with a strong focus on propulsion systems, currently serving as a Senior Propulsion Engineer and Propulsion Design Lead (Additive) at Axiom Space since April 2020. As the first dedicated propulsion team hire, Lorenzo has significantly contributed to the team's design philosophy and has been instrumental in developing the reaction control system engine and composite overwrapped pressure vessels. Previous roles include Pressure Control System Design Lead at Bigelow Aerospace, where Lorenzo simulated on-orbit inflation for the B-330 spacecraft and managed the inflation subsystem documentation, and Senior Propulsion Engineer at Aphelion Orbitals, where Lorenzo developed a non-toxic hypergolic rocket engine. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and ongoing studies at The University of Alabama Graduate School.
