Alp Aras, CFA

Alp Aras, CFA has held various roles in corporate development and investment banking since 2009. Alp began their career at Liberty Mutual Insurance as a Financial Analyst, where they maintained balance sheets, P&Ls, and general ledgers to meet both IFRS and US GAAP standards. From 2010 to 2014, Aras worked as an Investment Banking Senior Associate at Ünlü & Co, where they worked on 20+ deals as a sell-side and buy-side M&A advisor in various sectors. Alp then joined Kelly Investment Group, LLC as a Private Equity Associate, where they were a member of a 7-person investment team and was involved in all aspects of the investment process. Aras then joined Agilent Technologies as a Manager Strategy Corporate Development in 2017, where they performed acquisition valuation, due diligence, financial analysis, and risk assessments in support of proposed transactions. In 2021, they moved to Bio-Rad Laboratories as a Senior Manager Corporate Development and is currently the Director Strategy Corporate Development at Axion BioSystems since 2023.

Alp Aras, CFA has an education history that includes an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School from 2006 to 2008 and a BA in Economics from Koç University from 2001 to 2006. Alp also holds various certifications, including a Python Data Structures certificate from Coursera in 2018, a Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) certificate from Coursera in 2017, a Data Visualization and Communication with Tableau certificate from Coursera in 2017, a Business Metrics for Data-Driven Companies certificate from Coursera in 2017, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder from CFA Institute in 2016, and a Capital Market Activities Level 3 License from SPL - Sermaye Piyasası Lisanslama Sicil ve Eğitim Kuruluşu in 2010.
