Shannon (Rafferty) Fix, PHR

Shannon (Rafferty) Fix, PHR has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2010, they started their career as a Sales Associate at Izod, where they worked until 2013. Shannon then interned at the Office of the Attorney General of Pennsylvania from January to May 2014 and also interned at the U.S. House of Representatives from June to August 2014.

In 2015, Shannon joined the Penn State University Office of Governmental Affairs as an intern from August to December. Shannon later joined POLITICO in 2016, initially working as an Executive Assistant from June 2016 to September 2017. Shannon then transitioned to an Operations Specialist role from September 2017 to July 2018. From August 2018 to March 2021, they served as a Talent Management Specialist and subsequently as a Talent Management Partner from March 2021 to January 2022.

Currently, Shannon is working at Axios HQ as an Associate Director, People Operations, a position they started in January 2022. With their extensive background in sales, internships in governmental affairs, and roles in talent management and operations, Shannon has developed a robust skillset and a well-rounded understanding of various aspects of the workplace.

Shannon (Rafferty) Fix, PHR attended Penn State University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in History & Political Science. In 2019, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).
