Mohammed Dala-Ali

Mohammed Dala-Ali has a diverse professional background. Mohammed is currently working at Axios as a Senior Data Engineer and Tech lead since November 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Data Engineer at Axios from October 2022.

Before joining Axios, Mohammed worked at the National Research Group as a Data Engineer from September 2021 to October 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, Mohammed was employed at Tangible AI, where they had the role of Full-Stack Software Engineer. From 2010 to 2015, Mohammed worked as a Managing Partner at VQInvestment Group, where they managed multiple locations, developed marketing campaigns, and reviewed franchise performance.

Before that, Mohammed served as a Franchise Partner at Pizza Pizza Limited from 2008 to 2015, managing multiple locations and overseeing marketing campaigns and performance metrics.

Mohammed's career began as an IT Manager and IT Specialist at Zain Iraq from 2006 to 2008.

Mohammed Dala-Ali completed their Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Technology - Iraq in 2008. Mohammed then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from DUC, which they obtained in 2014. Later in 2018 and 2019, they earned the IBM Professional data scientist badge from Cognitive Class. In addition to their formal education, Mohammed has obtained various certifications in data science, programming, and related fields from reputable institutions such as UC Berkeley Executive Education, LinkedIn, Coursera, SoloLearn, IBM, Google, Snowflake, and dbt Labs.
