Jörgen Jönsson

Jörgen Jönsson has extensive work experience in various roles, including technical lead and system developer. Jörgen has worked for Axis Communications as a technical lead of thermal camera software since 2017. From 2013 to 2017, they worked for Consafe Logistics Group as a system developer, focusing on designing and adapting software for warehouse management systems. Prior to that, they worked at ST-Ericsson as a senior staff engineer, troubleshooting and optimizing power KPIs for mobile platforms. Jörgen also served as a system manager, leading design and analysis teams for wired and wireless communication and mobile streaming and TV. Before joining ST-Ericsson, Jörgen worked at Ericsson as a senior staff engineer and senior software engineer, primarily working on Bluetooth and IrDA development, as well as audio control development. Jörgen started their career at ABB Robotics as a software engineer, developing and maintaining industrial robot controllers. Jörgen also worked as an instructor at Lund University, an exchange student in Osaka at OTC DAIHEN, and as an electrician at Hans K. Schibli Elektrotechnik AG.

Jörgen Jönsson earned their M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lund University, Faculty of Engineering, LTH, between 1982 and 1986. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Katedralskolan Lund from 1978 to 1981, majoring in The Natural Science Programme.
