Stefan Andersson has a strong background in software security and has held various roles throughout their career. Stefan started their career as a Software Engineer at Business Security AB, where they focused on embedded software development for voice encryption devices. Stefan then moved on to Ericsson, where they worked as a Security Engineer, playing an active role in defining the 3G/UMTS security architecture. After that, they joined Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications as a Sr. Security Specialist, where they worked on requirements and design for core security features. Stefan then became a Master Security Engineer at Sony Mobile Communications, where they were responsible for the security and content protection area. Stefan was also a founding member of the software security group at Sony Mobile Communications. Stefan later joined Qlik as a Security Architect before moving on to their current position as the Lead Security Architect at Axis Communications. In this role, Stefan is the chairman of the software security group and is responsible for driving the software security roadmap. Stefan is also the architect behind the Axis Security Development Model and Security Assessment pipeline.
Stefan Andersson obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Lund University from 1991 to 1995. In 2014, they also received a certification in CCSK from the Cloud Security Alliance.
