Mark Ayton

Mark Ayton has a diverse work experience in the financial and mortgage industry. Mark started their career at Citigroup as a Market Manager for the San Francisco and Sacramento regions. Mark then joined JPMorgan Chase as a Regional Account Executive, where they successfully managed customer base and market share. Later, they worked at Icon Residential Lenders LLC as an Account Executive, focusing on underdeveloped territories and introducing technology to existing clients. After that, they worked at Reunion Mortgage Inc. as an Account Executive, navigating the changing regulatory climate and growing the funding base. Mark also worked at Home Savings of America as a Community Banker, playing a key role in reintroducing the brand in Northern California. Currently, Mark is the Senior Vice President of Business Strategy at AXIS Appraisal Management Solutions, leading the company team in acquisitions, implementation, and ongoing relationship maintenance with national client base. Mark is also responsible for identifying and prosecuting new business channels. Prior to this role, they held the position of Manager- Business Continuity at AXIS, where they were actively involved in recruitment, government compliance, operations oversight, and service fulfillment.

Mark Ayton obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Washington from 1986 to 1992. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications including Geographic Information Services Professional (GIS) from Michigan State University, Applied Project Management from UC Irvine, Business-to-Business Sales and Creating a Culture of Privacy from LinkedIn, and a 15 Hour USPAP Certification from the Appraisal Institute.
