Justin Carter

Justin Carter has a diverse work experience in supply chain and logistics management. Justin is currently working as a Supply Chain Manager at Axis Automation since February 2021. Before that, they worked at JR Automation as a Supply Chain Manager from December 2016 to February 2021. Prior to that, Justin worked at Caterpillar Inc. where they held two roles, first as a Material Requirements Planning Supervisor 4 from December 2015 to December 2016, and then as a Logistics Manager 2 from January 2014 to December 2015. Justin's early career includes a role as a Senior Materials Engineer at Caterpillar Parts Department from September 2011 to January 2014, where they implemented kanban processes, oversaw shipping floor activities, and participated in warehouse redesign projects. Justin also worked as a Logistics Planning Analyst at Caterpillar Logistics from September 2008 to September 2011, where they developed logistics solutions and contributed to inventory reduction initiatives. Justin started their career at G&D Integrated Solutions as a Logistics Planning Analyst from June 2007 to June 2008.

Justin Carter attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Management and Analysis with a concentration in Supply Chain Management. In 2013, Justin obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt certification, and in 2016 they received a CPIM certification from APICS Lincoln Land Chapter. Most recently, in September 2020, they obtained a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification from APICS.
