Sanjeev Suman

Sanjeev Suman possesses over three decades of experience in the banking and finance sector, currently serving as the Head of Credit at Axis Bank since May 2019. Suman's expertise encompasses credit appraisal for corporate lending, decision-making on cases, and maintaining turnaround times for credit processing. Previous roles at Axis Bank include Branch Head, where responsibilities included profitability management, staff training, and client relationship management, as well as serving in various capacities focused on SME finance and collections. Prior to Axis Bank, Suman held managerial positions at Bank of India, overseeing large corporate accounts and project appraisals, and worked as a Production Manager at Cement Corporation of India Limited. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Export Marketing from Lucknow University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from BIT Sindri.
