Brett Mandel

Brett Mandel is an experienced professional in the insurance industry, currently serving as an Underwriting Team Lead at AXIS Capital since March 2023. Prior to this role, Brett was employed at Sompo International from March 2017 to March 2023, advancing from Underwriter Associate to Senior Underwriter and then Assistant Vice President, focusing on Professional Liability. Brett began the career as an Underwriter Associate at Endurance from January 2016 to March 2017. Earlier experience includes teaching English in South Korea with the English Program in Korea from August 2013 to August 2015. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in History with a minor in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
