Jon Arcos

Jon Arcos has a diverse work experience in the spinal implant and biologics industry. Jon started their career at DePuy International as an International Group Product Manager for Spine. From there, they worked at Axis Spine Ltd., serving as a Director and working on developing spinal stabilization devices. Jon then moved to ApaTech as a VP of Commercial Strategy, where they re-branded the company and launched Actifuse.

In 2007, Jon joined NuVasive as a Senior Director for UK Commercial Development and later took on the role of Senior Director for International Development, focusing on the Benelux and Nordic regions. During their time at NuVasive, they played a key role in launching the company's minimally invasive portfolio and supporting sales, surgeon training, and engagement.

In 2016, Jon returned to Axis Spine, this time as the Founder and CEO, leading the development of a platform technology for modular interbody fusion cages. The company received 510(k) clearance for their first cage in 2021.

Throughout their career, Jon has also provided specialist consulting services, particularly for start-ups, assisting with market access, sales, clinical research, reimbursement, and development projects.

Jon Arcos earned a Bachelor's Degree in Geography & Management Studies B.Sc. from the University of Leeds, where they studied from 1992 to 1995.
