Hisham Deeb

Hisham Deeb has extensive work experience in the field of bridge engineering. Hisham currently holds the role of Chief Bridge Engineer at Axis Companies since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Bridge Lead at OM Engineering Services, Inc from November 2020 to December 2021, where they were responsible for the bridge department and its services, including supervising the construction of a circular bridge in North America for Universal Studios.

Before OM Engineering, Hisham served as the Bridge Practice Lead at Wood from December 2016 to February 2020 and as a Senior Associate Project Manager/Bridge Manager at Amec Foster Wheeler from December 2016 to January 2020. Hisham also worked briefly as a Sr Bridge Engineer at Gresham, Smith and Partners in 2016.

Hisham has experience managing bridge groups and delivering bridge projects in Canada, as they served as the Manager of Bridges at WSP in Canada from September 2012 to March 2016. Hisham played a key role in the final design build quadrant of the Northeast Anthony Henday highway project in Edmonton.

Earlier in their career, Hisham worked as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Bridge Engineer at CH2M HILL from September 2009 to September 2012. Hisham also served as the VP of Structural Services at Moreland Altobelli Associates, LLC from June 1999 to September 2009.

Hisham Deeb obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1981. Hisham then went on to earn their Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from Clemson University in 1984-1985. Later, in 2002-2004, they pursued an MBA in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, Hisham Deeb has obtained multiple certifications, including Professional Engineer (PE) from various institutions such as TX, AL, IN, SC, FL, and GA. Hisham also received the PEng certification from APEGA and APEGABC in 2010.
