Foad Vashahi

Foad Vashahi is a polymer scientist currently leading the material science and characterization division at Axoft since March 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing resin and resist production and developing novel UV curable fluoro-resins with tunable properties for lithography. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from July 2021 to March 2023, where methods for data collection and aggregation at the Center for Faculty Excellence were developed. Additionally, Foad worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Jeonbuk National University from March 2019 to August 2019, focusing on analyzing atomizer spray patterns through high-speed camera image processing and simulating gas turbine combustor conditions. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and two PhDs in Mechanical Engineering from Jeonbuk National University, complemented by a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Islamic Azad University.
