Adrian Koh

Adrian Koh has extensive work experience in the semiconductor and robotics industries. Adrian is currently serving as the Head of Business Development at AXONNE since June 2021. Prior to this role, Adrian was an Advisory Board Member at zing robotics, an AGV startup acquired by UPower, from July 2019 to December 2021.

Adrian's previous experience includes working at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor as the Sr. Director of Automotive Business Development from June 2018 to June 2021. Adrian also held various roles at NXP Semiconductors, such as Director of Automotive Business Development from November 2014 to June 2018, Director of Global Key Account - Apple from September 2013 to October 2014, and Technical Business Development Director from August 2010 to August 2013.

Before working at NXP Semiconductors, Adrian was the Global Key Account Manager - Bosch Automotive Power Mgt from January 2009 to July 2010. Adrian also served as the International Product Marketing Manager and Senior Principal Concept Engineer at NXP Semiconductors from February 2008 to August 2009 and October 2006 to January 2008, respectively.

Furthermore, Adrian was engaged in leadership roles at IET, where they served as the Chair of Power Technical Group - Manchester Region from October 2007 to January 2009. Adrian began their career at Philips Semiconductors UK Ltd as a Senior Development Engineer in Automotive Advanced PowerMOS Development from February 2001 to October 2006.

Adrian Koh has a diverse education history characterized by their pursuit of higher academic qualifications in various fields of study. Adrian earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA program in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their PhD and obtained a first-class Honours Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Swansea University in 2001. Adrian also holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, which they obtained from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 1992.

In addition to their academic achievements, Adrian has acquired several certifications to bolster their professional credentials. Adrian completed the "Conducting Process Audit to VDA 6.3" certification from Omnex Inc in August 2018. Adrian became a Chartered Engineer through the Engineering Council in 2004 and obtained the certification of being an International Professional Engineer from the same institution in April 2007. Most recently, Adrian became a UL-Certified Functional Safety Professional in January 2022 through UL.
