Julien Voillot

Microfabrication Engineer at Axorus

Julien Voillot has been working in the field of microfabrication engineering since 2020, when they joined Axorus as a Microfabrication Engineer. Prior to this, they were a Process Engineer at CRIVASENSE TECHNOLOGIES from 2017-2020. From 2016-2017, they were a Research Engineer (V.I.E. program) at Air Liquide. From 2013-2016, they worked as a Research Engineer (in apprenticeship) at Air Liquide's Paris-Saclay Research Center, where they evaluated silicon precursors for amorphous and microcrystalline silicon solar cells, deposited intrinsic and doped silicon and silicon oxide films by PECVD, and characterized the films using ellipsometry, FTIR, Raman, and dark conductivity analysis. Additionally, they textured silicon substrates by remote plasma etching for photovoltaic application and fabricated tandem a-Si/c-Si cells using the texturing method developed. Before this, from 2012-2013, they worked as a Thin Film Research Technician (in apprenticeship) at the Institute of Fundamental Electronic.

Julien Voillot has a background in Materials Science and Engineering. Julien obtained a 2-year Degree (DUT) from Universit\u00e9 d'\u00c9vry in 2010-2012. Julien then pursued a Bachelor's Degree at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) in 2012-2013, where they also obtained a TOEIC certification from ETS Global B.V. in April 2013. Julien continued their studies at Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) for a Master's Degree in 2013-2014 and 2014-2015, focusing on Thin Films - Materials and microsystems.
