Joseph Debrah-Afful, CPA, MBA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting operations and financial management. Currently serving as Controller and Senior Director of Finance at Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. since August 2017, Joseph has held multiple roles within the company including Director of Finance. Prior to this, Joseph was the Controller at Cornerstone Relocation Group for nearly a year and spent over 14 years at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where responsibilities included managing accounting operations and preparing financial statements. Joseph's expertise in financial reporting, budget preparation, and tax audits has consistently ensured accuracy and efficiency. Joseph holds an M.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Montclair State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Cape Coast.
