S.N. George Chu

S.N. George Chu has a strong background in technology and scientific research. S.N. George worked as the VP of Technology and Chief Scientist at AXT, Inc. starting in March 2012. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Device Wafer Processing at Multiplex Inc from February 2003 to February 2012. Chu began their career at Bell Labs, Murray Hill in 1980, where they held the role of DMTS until 2002.

S.N. George Chu attended the University of Rochester from 1972 to 1977, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Optics and Material Science.
