Ala Lada

Ala Lada is the current director of sales at Aya. Prior to this, they were the manager of group sales and business development southern Alberta at Alberta Blue Cross from July 2018 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for driving results through a sales and service team of 20 employees in 3 branches responsible for sales growth and retention of group benefits customer base in Southern Alberta.

Lada has always been driven by a desire to help others and build relationships. This is evident in their previous roles where they have been responsible for coaching, mentoring and supporting sales teams to help drive desired sales results and retention of clients. Lada is also skilled in developing internal relationships and collaborating with different internal departments to support the sales efforts.

Lada’s ability to think outside the box and identify areas of opportunity within current sales operations has led their to be successful in their career. This was evident when they helped develop new processes to drive efficiencies as well as when they participated in organizational projects focused on digital product development.

Lada’s dedication to their career is evident in their previous roles where they provided regular status reports of the sales pipeline to the Director and Vice President of the group division. Ala was also known for attending, participating and representing the organization in various community and business program functions.

The educational career for Ala Lada would include a BCOMM from John Molson School of Business, with a focus in management and marketing, from Concordia University. Additionally, they would take core courses in management and marketing from Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business. Finally, they would complete their A-Level GCE & GCSE at Collage De La Salle, with a focus in French studies, from J'Explore.

Their manager is Chanddeep Madaan, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Mario Furgiuele - Chief Product & Portfolio Officer, Jeff Clark - VP, Marketing, and Joanna Armatys - VP.
