Aashu Jha

Aashu Jha is a skilled engineer and researcher with a strong background in photonics and electrical engineering. Currently serving as a Sr. Link Modeling Engineer at Ayar Labs since August 2023, Aashu previously held the position of Research Scientist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise within the Large Scale Integrated Photonics group. Aashu's academic experience includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, where significant contributions were made as a Graduate Student Researcher, including the design of an integrated nonlinear photonic thresholder and the first integrated all-optical artificial neuron. Aashu also gained experience at Apple as an Exploratory Design Intern and contributed to research projects at Bates College and various other institutions. Educational credentials encompass a B.Sc. in Physics and Math from Bates College, a Visiting Student Programme at the University of Oxford, and early foundational education at Budhanilkantha School in Nepal.
